>>>I think the mouse has two channels to help in this case.

>>You are correct: you can change the transmission channel by pressing a little button on the bottom of the mouse. I hadn't noticed that before.

>Yes, but with 15 peoples with this kind of mouse around a conference table can be funny to watch...

One time I was teaching a workshop to a group of people at their company training room, which was set up so that everybody sat around the perimeter of a U-shaped arrangement of tables. There was a PC for each student, and of course the machines were pretty close to each other on the table tops. At the lunch break a couple of the students decided to play a practical joke on two of the others and switched their mice - just picked them up and moved them over next to the other's keyboard. You couldn't tell any difference just by looking because all the cables were simply draped over the backs of the tables and you couldn't tell where they went. When those two students returned from lunch they were perplexed to find that a) their own mouse didn't work at all, and b) something was randomly moving the mouse pointer around on their screen. It took 'em longer than you might think to figure out that when one moved their mouse, the other one's pointer moved!
