John,
I don't use the app builder, lemme try if I can help :) Build the app with recompile all and 'display errors' CHECKED. If there are any errors it'd prompt in a text file at the end of build. If project manager can't find a file it'd prompt you to locate. First try with just these. If it doesn't help we can continue with the error displayed when you run the app.
PS: As far as I remember you already set your path to somehing like "progs;libs;menus;..." in tools\options\file locations.
