That would be true if "fit" meant things like huge and brutish and machiavellian.
But that isn't, as I understand it, the intent. It can mean things like camoflage or night vision or speed. In the case of humanity it definitely includes the ability to think.

Imagine a world where, for humanity, the only "fit" members are the politically correct. Ouch!
