For data Tranferring concept you can use anyway by with VFP as:-
1.Server :-open waitting for connect with Dialup Server from dialup networking of Windows 98 or Windows Me or Windows 2000.
2.Remote :-Use RAS from my application Download connect to Server like connect to the internet.
3.After Connect you can you server's mapped drive like a local area network.
4.After that you can use data tranferring with COPY or ZIP that file up to you.
