Trying to build VFP app to handle video capture for still photos of individuals. No prob on the TWAIN interface for desktops, but whence entering into the laptop arena, the only/best interface available is using the pcmcia (pc card) mechanism. This mechanism offers fast data transmission, but no longer provides TWAIN compatibility. From what I gather, it tends to lie within the Video for Windows or DirectShow (AVI & QuickTime) arena. These both prefer interfacing via C++ -- I'd like to stick with VFP.

Does anyone out there have any info/input on such subject?
