I come from a VB background. I have just been saddled with a FoxPro ASP Project. I am very familiar with ADO and would like to use it; however, all the drivers that I have tried are dog slow.
I've have heard there is a new Visual FoxPro OleDb Driver for Visual FoxPro 7.
Is it any good--that is does it use any of the Rushmore technology. Is there anyway I can legally get it besides buying Visual FoxPro 7 ( I guess I could get an Educational Discount somewhere--but I really want to use it for a client.
Problem #2 -- How do I step through the code on a FoxPro Dll. I know how to debug a dll with VB or even an ActiveX exe--I don't know what hoops to jump through to actually debug an inprocess dll.
thanks,
