I found creating my first test web service a fairly straight forward process except for the following.


1. My DLL kept getting locked by IIS and I had to keep re-booting. This was frustrating.

2. I had trouble finding examples of calling my WEB service from an ASP page.

3. I had some strange bug in my WEB Service wizard that made it behave as if SET TALK was ON. I have not yet got around to fixing this.




>I would like to ask some questions to members here on the UT who have created at least one XML Web service using VFP 7.0 (a VFP7 COM DLL to WSDL using the Web Services Wizard). Note this is about creating XML Web services in VFP7, not consuming/calling them which is generally easy and straight forward:
