>Dear All,

> Previously I only write programs for single users. Now I need to rewrite them to cater for multi-users. I manage to sort things out except one or two. I got a problem to print reports to a printer which is linked with a central computer. The command - SET PRINTER TO \\computer_name\printer_name only apply to NT. I am now using Window 98. Is there any way round to solve the problem? I am now testing my program by joining two computers via the parallel printer ports. The report is always printed to the local printer even though the printer name is wrong.

Try to use SET PRINTER TO NAME < printer name > and take a look at faq #7840.
