Like someone mentioned earlier today, there is no need to have the refresh icon. So, this icon has been removed. The new message icon will now always let you do a manual refresh and will be shown in color when new messages have been created while in the middle of your session. Either black and white or color it is, you'll be able to do a manual refresh using this icon at any time.
