Your COPY TO isn't quite right, Jon. Use
COPY TO TYPE FOXBASE
This will give you the Clipper/dBaseIII/ DBT file structure for your memo fields. Jeff, you'll have to reindex AFTER doing this to get the Clipper NTX indexes back.
