Dominic, I'm not sure exactly how you want to use this facility, but I've written some code which might accomplish what you want to do. What it does is allow the user to drag columns of a grid around, and also change their width, and then save the column orders and widths to several tables, so he can have a number of Custom Views of his screen. The user can select his favorite screen views clicking a radio button on the screen. If you feel this would be helpful, I can send it to you.
