If this isn't about some network card failing, I guess it won't be a few machines, but a few users switching their PC off.
Suppose the latter is the case, you could build in some appends to a local table (residing on the PC's harddisk) at a regular interval; now when you have the corruption, it will be at the PC which caused it too (the local table).

Possibly not the most convenient solution to find out who causes it, but it is one ...
