I don't know - this didn't happen to me with Epson dot-matrix printers. A laser printer is supposed to print an entire page at once, so perhaps you are missing the page-break.

Or, you have to finish the print-job. How about SET PRINTER TO (no parameters)? However, I really don't know. I haven't experienced your problem.
