While I have a great respect for Ken's technical contributions, I judge Microsoft by their actions over the long term. He has an uphill battle fighting the "let it languish" attitude in Redmond. But I do think it is time that FoxPro developers began to call reality as it is. I had dinner with Dave Fulton after he sold the product to Gates - and I had great expectations for what Microsoft might do with the product. My hopes have dissolved over the years as I've watched second rate products (like VB) be propped up... while VFP has been hobbled. The only satisfaction to be had is watching products like WebConnect deliver... while the vapors continue to rise from NET.
