Yes, it's not a path problem. A good bit of their source code is not available. I'm not looking for an application generator, which VPM is not, either, altho it does have builders, which most users don't use after they're familiar with the product. However, it does keep you at arms length from VFP, which I'm also tired of. That said, it's a very robust framework with a lot of features, and I've made a lot of money with it,and my customers like the look and feel of it.

In addition to a framework I can use with the debugger, and the things I've seen on CM's web site (sql serv support, 3 tier oop design, etc.) I'm looking for a framework that is more than a collection of components, but get between me and VFP.

A couple more questions, pls. Does CM have a data dictionary, or does it use VFP's? Does it have error logging? Audit trails?
