It seems that after running a trace on the code, I have an activeX toolbar control on the form which is causing the form to not respond as a modal even though windowtype is set to modal. If I remove the tool bar the form responds properly, but with the toolbar code execution doesn't stop. Guess I'll need to use a different control. Thanks.
