>>I want to send in the rebate coupon for VFP7. The coupon requires the VFP7 product box top as proof of purchase to receive the rebate. Does this mean the original, or will a copy suffice? If the original is required, won't I need this to qualify for future (VFP8) rebates?

>This is about as far from an official Microsoft answer as you're ever going to see out of me, but I'm
guessing just about anything with a Fox head and the number 7 on it would qualify. Rebate center employees aren't exactly highly trained fraud experts, you know, they just want to churn coupons. Keep in mind that this is based on my previous experience with various software products, and not on anything I know based on my employement.

Thanks Mike. There is also the question of whether or not Visual Studio 6.0 qualifies for the rebate. I've tried calling the rebate number myself, but it has been down at least since Friday due to "extreme weather conditions".
