>I have vfp7 running on win2k and need to have one field in a table, form, and report that is Korean. Can anyone give me a jump start on how to approach this? I don't need any sorting or indexing on the field. Everything else is English.

I don't know Korean. Does it use a single-byte, or a double-byte character set?
For single-byte characters, check
cpconvert().
For double-byte character sets (this permits more than 256 symbols; actually, up to 65000 in theory), search the help for "DBCS | Working with". This will take you to the appropriate section in chapter 18 (for VFP 6).
