You won't even push VFPs limits in this scenario.
>I've worked in the vfp environment working with single user applications, reporting and data schluging. I have multi-user POS project 10-20 users want to use the VFP frontend but am concerned about the VFP DataBase DBF's being up to the job dealing with the backend and if so the preferred way of storing the DBF's on a server for a multi-user environment(FileShares etc.) or if using a Free DBMS like SapDB, PostGreSql, or MySQL is a better solution. Reliablility is of utmost importance but, cost (free is required) does come into play. I'd prefer to to be able to run on a NT server already in place so a LINUX/UNIX only DB is not a option. Learning Curve is important for this, but not subsiqent projects as we have a close deadline, but want to find the best possible solution.
