Hi Marcia,
It's not that simple. Almost all computers at work are Windows 95. So, first we need to upgrade. My manager suggests Windows 98 and I can not yet convince him to use Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Secondly, we're working on the Re-engineering project, which started more than 3 years ago. We're very close to the end, but not quite. So, at this time of development it's a little bit dangerous to switch.
Anyway, our work colleague is working in VFP7.0 and testing our software. So, hopefully, we'll upgrade in few months...

>>> Thanks a lot for the response. I was thinking about the same approach for creating Header's ToolTipText. Unfortunately, I still use VFP6.0 and I already found, that MouseMove event doesn't work reliably (at least, for Headers). I guess, I will wait for our company decision to upgrade, when I return to this idea. <<

>Well what are they waiting for? FWIW, we were working a huge app over a year ago that was started using VFP 6. When 7 was available, we just continued development in VFP 7. Nothing broke and we gained lots in the way developer productivity.

>So what are they waiting for? As far as I can see, there is no downside to upgrading now.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
