Excellent point. Now that Win95 is no longer supported by Microsoft, folks still running it should upgrade if only for the reason of getting support. Maybe the rationale is that since Win95 had around six year life span, Win98 should have the same. So you buy 3 years if that logic holds true.

I personally wouldn't recommend anything less than Win2K Pro for business applications. Further, I think that pursuing anything less (including WinMe) is being "penny wise and pound foolish".
