The only reason (other than the one you stated) I can think of for going to Win98 is that the company will more than likely have to upgrade its hardware too in order to upgrade to Win2k Pro. Depending on the size of the company, even with how inexpensive hardware is these days, that could wind up being a huge chunk of change < s >.
