I feel like a complete idiot. My query is based on the first three characters of account, portfolio_id and mbr_acct. The query from DB2 that filled the combobox had four characters not three. This was actually a table flaw in the main database. I adjusted that query to remove the fourth character that is always a space and everything is beautiful now.
