Eugenijus, take a look on VFUG Tom O'Hare has put a client there you can use in a VFP app that is basically instant messaging and IRC on VFUG. You can use the server part without having to use PWS or IIS. It would be what I would call private IRC, although the client could probably be redone to log onto public IRC servers.
