There are a lot of swipe card systems out there, If you buy the 'Card Printer'
the manufacturer should provide you with the DLLs and software to control the printer, at least that was our case. We have two systems, one use a card with
a magnetic band, the information stored in the band is entered at printing time.
Once you have that there are tons of magnetic readers that will connect through the keyboard, that is the easiest way. For the sensors, check www.x10.com.
