I wasn't proposing a 20-30 wait on this info. That was my prescription of "best of the century" lists.

The first sentence of my message asked what we'd think in 2, 5 or 10 years. Two is probably a reasonable timeframe to consider something "history" in our fast-paced field.

My point is that there are lots of things that happened over the years that seemed important at the time, but with a little perspective, aren't really. We can't know now which category the "Will Microsoft ..." discussion falls into. For sure, people here on the UT consider it far more important than those who spend their online VFP time elsewhere.
