I have 192MB RAM, Pentium Pro. I have two local disks (C - 2GB, D - 20GB). So, I guess, my work computer doesn't need to be upgraded from hardware POV.
Now, is it possible to install Windows 2000 over Windows 95? Do I need to re-install all software again (Visual Studio 6.0, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, GroupWise, etc.)?
>64Mb is the recommended minimum; with 32Mb the hard drive would constantly be churning.

>64Mb would still be painfully slow (especially if it was on a P133 *grin*). You need 128Mb or more, and it is cheap at today's prices.

>>Ok, thanks. I'll wait for the next IT meeting to bring this subject up.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
