Thank you for the suggestion from the article #575, I tested it and it works great....however it still seems that is no way to setup an OLE Link (refer to the start of this thread, quoted VFP 5.0 help text on GENERAL) using a general field that where the link to a photo can be accessed and printed...is this correct? That is to say, I can insert a windows shortcut into the GENERAL field and then double click it and open the photo...but don't seem to have a way to "dereference" the icon for a report.
