Hi Steve,

I tried your code - and stepped through the entire section. As expected, it didn't connect and the control generated an error. When it got to '.release()', the program just kept on executing the code below that line - as if the release command was totally ignored. This really has me baffled.

Of course I also want to close the current form so that processing cannot proceed without a connection to the Exchange Server.

Any suggestions on how I should move forward - (i.e. determine which dangling reference(s) is prohibiting my form from closing...)
