The reason is that -C is taken as a default command line switch to VFP, used to specify an alternative name/location for the CONFIG.FPW, so in effect, you're trying to overload the switch behavior (-clean would look for a CONFIG.FPW named 'lean' in the startup directory or the VFP runtime file directory.)
Try using a command line switch word that doesn't use one of the reserved letters for VFP command line switched.
