Thanks to Mike & David for their replies, but I was aware of most of that. My problem is that I DO have code in the class's Error method, and it is NOT being called (as I think we all would have expected). The only additional clue I have is from my second post, which is that the error I want to trap takes place in an object.method invoked by code in another object's Error method. It's an error inside an error handler...

Would using my ErrorMessage object as a COM object help? At least then, it's living in its own executable space. I'd just as soon not have to worry with that, but I can't code to protect all possible problems with a table (as far as I know...)
