Thanks for the verification that what I was observing was indeed correct. I was just wondering if there was a reason behind this that I should know about -- it struck me as being a little strange that changing the graphical width of the text box would change the LEN of the .Value. I almost always routinely do an ALLTRIM around a user's input to get rid of any stray spaces.
