Actually, this isn't a "normal" view parameter. Since it's part of the join condition, VFP is prompting for the parameter even when using the view with no data. So AddViewParameter() won't help me in this situation - I need this set even before MM's attempts to use the view. It looks like Dan's suggestion works, though.
