Hi

I have a table which is buffered. I select (and sort) a portion of these records into a cursor from which the user can select which records they want to set two feields to a particular which they have selected. The click an assign button which updates (replace fields in) the records in both the tempory cursor and the underlying table.

The user decides they wany a slightly different view and so I have to refresh from the underlying table (say they select a set for Chicago) and then select all to continue with the allocation process.

Problem:-

Subsequent selects from the underlying table return the old values because no tableupdate has been issued on that data even though if I 'Browse' the table I see the updated records

Question:-

How do I access the updated records without issuing a tableupdate. Obviously if Browse can do it so can I but I am not sure of the syntax.

Maybe I am still missing something basic but I figured I would at least have access to records I had modified using a select statement. Ho humm
