Thanks Jim. Nice to hear from you. I tried to do as you said by changing the rowsource to "Select name, custid from customers into cursor ccustomers" and rowsourcetype to 3-SQL
boundcolumn=2

I'm still experencing the same results. The bound combo is blank when a value exist in the underlaying table. Once I select a valid selection the combo value becomes 3? The cursor has the correct values (integer) but the value of the combo now shows 3?
