Could be a cyclic reference: File A needs B which needs C...which needs A. Each time one is compiled, it means another needs compling next time.

>That'd be too easy. I even tried blanking the timestamp field, the symbols field and the object field, and finally the local field - all with the same result. They all get properly restored on the next build, and the build after that still recompiles all classes and generates the menu. Tried under both VFP7 and VFP6 SP5 - most of the time the latter.
