Is there a book,doc file,a web site or something that has a listing of functions,procedures, and arrays that are avialable for a newbie to review. I'm having problems finding this information from the Kylix2 help. I.e. I was attempting to compare two string and the compiler was give me an error. It took an hour but I found ansicomparestr which now works. Then there was the time I wrote a Month_name routine to return the month name in a string - only later to discover LongMonthName[] (array). The Borland Doc's provide little help.
