Who is He (OK, I know the article gave a brief bio, but I've never heard of him before. Also:

"He was a key guy in building FoxPro and, more important, in creating an incredibly rabid community of [FoxPro] developers. To this day we don't have another customer base that is as passionate about their tool as the community that Eric fostered."

Now excuse me, but I have been using Fox products since Foxbase 2.1, and the Fox Community has always been, well, I wouldn't use rabid, but certainly keen :) MS merely inherited that community. Besides, no-one else here in the office has ever heard of Eric Rudder either!

Now this could be poor reporting or a mis-quote, but I just wondered whether anyone else knew of this guy previously?
