Micheal, you've been great. I never changed my dsn from fox over to access, so that's one step taken care of. Using what you sent before, I tried it and it write a the null value to the database. Also, I looked at a website my dad did for his company, and he's not using the appendchunk either. In fact he said that he had not even heard of it.
