We have two servers: Development server (Novell) and Live server (NT). We're in a Nowell network. My machine is Windows 95 with 192RAM. Everything works with acceptable speed on my machine.

Several users have Windows 98 with 256RAM. Testing on Development server worked fine. After switching to Live server, all applications work extremely slow. Each cursor movement takes ~1min. As a solution my manager suggested to make these machines Windows 95. Antivirus is disabled.

What would be your suggestions?
