VB has a WebBrowser control which may be used to write a custom web browser to log not only the URL's visited but also extract information from those pages using the html document objects. The 'DocumentComplete' event returns the current URL and the 'Document' property provides a reference to the html document objects. A listing of the html objects may be found at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/objects.asp.
The WebBrowser control is basically the core browser used in Internet Explorer and it is included in the 'Microsoft Internet Controls' component.
