Hi Mark

You could try the Video clip which has Steve Ballmer talking about VFP7.0 and how committed Microsoft is to its future, and how well it integrates with .Net. You can't get anything more authoritative than Ballmer himself.

You can run the video clip from http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/

Quote: "Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer Talks About Visual FoxPro 7.0
In this two-minute video, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer expresses his enthusiasm for the latest version of Visual FoxPro. He discusses features and enhancements in Visual FoxPro version 7.0—including support for XML Web services and Microsoft SQL Server™, as well as improved integration with other Microsoft products. He also notes the importance of the FoxPro development community and Microsoft's commitment to evolving the Visual FoxPro product."
