I recently developed a VB Browser(VB 6.0) as an intro to VB Internet programming. All is working well including a routine to send E-mail using my compuserve account. I have attempted to use a routine from the Net to use Winsock to read my mail. When I run the application, I receive a Winsock error # 10051 - "The network cannot be reached from this host at this time". Is there a problem using VB with compuserve for checking E-mail? The routine to access the mail is very similar to the one to sent mail, except it uses port 110. I am using the correct account and password for access. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
