I talked to one of our firewall folks here, and he told me that port 8080 is closed. I work for the US Federal Government Department of Veterans Affairs, and since the firewall is set up at three national gateways, this means that none of us government wide will be able to connect to vfug. I was wondering as well as the other UT people here why I couldn't get to this site anymore.
