This ability is recent and available in the Toledo Wish List, the Task Tracker and in the Downloads. Where appropriate, we allow members to comment on an item. When it is the case, and thanks to Jim Nelson for this excellent suggestion, the new icon you see in the top of the toolbar in messages area, will increment a counter if the owner of an entry gets comments. So, by that, when the owner of the entry receives comments, he or she will be aware of it and would be able to do so. It works exactly as when you get a reply in the messages area.
