>I have a report designed with headings, etc. The report prints result of SQL SELECT statement, but the SELECT statement is dynamic: it changes according to what user sets.

You could create all the possible fields on the report, then set the Print When to be !EMPTY(MyFld), and even set to remove when blank.
Trying fiddling with the position stuff aswell, like set the fields to be float...
