Version 7 is very good, I recommend getting it. oApp is probably the best place to place this code because it is subclassed into an app. specific instance. I'm not really enamored of the use of the registry though, since I don't really understand it, and from what I read in this routine is that it really is meant for situations where the developer has set a specific path for a given file. I may be wrong about this though. Right now I'm looking at other options, but they require creating app specific subclasses (until I'm more comfortable in modifying the version in the custom classes)
