For manipulating data and viewing on screen (one record at a time), you would have the JPG in a separate file on disk, not a general field. Show it on the form with an image object.

You could also use a memo field for saving the data. For viewing, in this case, you would probably write the memo to a temp JPG file and then show it in an image object, as above.

For reports, I think it would be easiest to create a temp table and temporarily import the JPG files to a general field.
