Thanx Larry.
>>I need to install an app on a client computer that is running Win 2000 Professional. The app is set up to use either VFP, SQL Server or Oracle as the back end and I wanted to demo all three.

>Yes it can. As Sergey posted, you can install the Desktop version of SQL Server. I would do this over MSDE as you get the UI management components with it. You can download Personal Oracle 8i or 9i from their site.

>By default, SQL Server listens for connection requests on IP port 1433. Oracle listens on port 1521 so they won't conflict there either.

>One caveat, if you want to run them simultaneously, have a lot of RAM in your system (512MB+). For me, Oracle took over 200MB and SQL Server was using about 100MB at the time.
