>I'm trying to determine if Amyuni PDF Converter is a good solution for a vertical market application (VFP version 6.0 SP3). I prefer to use the FLL interface as up to this point in time the application has not needed to register any dll's for the VFP 3rd party utilities used. After analyzing the "developers demo" I have a few questions:
>
>I cannot ensure that the user of the application will have the appropriate printer permissions to allow programmatically adding and deleting the printer as described in the example VFP test program. It seems the logical solution is to install the Amyuni printer at the time the application is installed (by someone with the appropriate permissions). When I do this, all other applications are able to see the "Amyuni PDF Converter" printer as a selection. If I attempt to print to this printer from another application (like Word) without using the Common Driver Interface functions, nothing happens. I think this may be confusing to the user.

In order to install Amyuni PDF Converter Login should be a Local Administrator (win 2000 and above). Just like for any other software.
